For vehicles of more than 500kg MDI has designed a mixed wire netting frame, using tubes and foundry parts, assembled with glue.
The plates obtained from foundry are linked by aluminum tubes .
The unit is glued using epoxy adhesive, a bi-components coming from the aircraft industry used to assemble structures.
For the ‘low cost’ cars (standard OneFlowAIR), a single molded piece is used for the technical base, the seats and the external body is used as the frame.
Inserts to support the principal mechanic system and the suspensions are integrated in this molded piece.
The seats helps in the rigidity of the unit and it is the steering wheel and the pedals that are adjustable.
